The tiger lotus is native to to Southeast Asia and East Africa.
These hearty plants thrive in tanks with slower moving water that resemble semi stagnant ponds/lakes in the wild.
Its broad leaves offer shelter to skitish tank dwellers such as neocaridina shrimp and many species of nano fish. 
This plant makes a good mid-ground and background plant once its matured.
Can grow upwards of 10 inches tall.
